Directing
Three men—from China, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Palestine—live together in a squatted apartment in a seemingly abandoned building in Paris. The group is bound together by their shared experience of life in exile and the fleeting nature of their possessions, relationships, and sense of home, but the temporary safe space is threatened by outside forces and events.

Emil is a photographer. He loves photos, he lives photos. Transponder explores his photographic obsession with both observed objects and personal experiences. Emil's life, his present as well as his memories of love and encounters, are captured as a sequence of pictures taken with a camera.
The looks of a character of mixed ethnicities are continuously changing: hair and skin colour shift, intersect and alternate each other, creating a choreography of looks and poses based on representations throughout art-history and pop culture.
