A high school girl, Izumi Gojo, who has been found guilty of murder, falls into the sea and disappears when running away from the police. However, a mysterious group rescues her and had her undertake training to transform her into an assassin. Years later, Izumi seeks to escape the group.
The war between the Iga and Sanada ninja clans is heating up, and a prominent gunsmith is on both clan's radar. Shinsuke Kakei, the gunsmith, is essentially a pacifist, but believes his weapons can bring peace to the land if put in the hands of the right group. Kasumi is sent to convince Kakei to come and work for them, and keep the guns out of the hands of the Iga. Of course Hattori, along with his sister Sayuri, have other plans for Kakei and his wife.

Her clan elder approaches a specific former member of their group, Sakichi, for his aid in the matter. Unfortunately, due to a tragedy and a lost love, he is unwilling to lend his help to the Sanada ninja, and Kasumi volunteers to handle the matter. Ultimately, she is captured and it is up to Sakichi to help her get to safety... but not before she settles the score with a rival lady ninja.
