Andrei is the head of a gang of antisemitic skinheads clinging to the old communist ideals in post-Communist Moscow. When he learns that his long lost father actually is a Jewish bohemian living in Moscow, rather than an Afghanistan war hero, he traces him down in order to kill him. But the intriguing father and his "reactionary" lifstyle soon fascinates Andrei which leads to a clash with his gang.

A teenage girl nicknamed Avariya - "Crash" - is a rebel child that just can't get along with her family members that try to persuade her to behave normally - that is as other people do. But when Avariya gets gang-raped, his father (who is a cop) breaks all the rules and goes out for revenge.

Choreographic school, young talents are collected here. Behind eight years of study - three months remain before the final performance. And finally, “Giselle” is appointed, roles are distributed, girls are worried - they are afraid of the wording “professionally unsuitable”, but Yulya’s thoughts are different. She fell in love for the first time. And she has to choose between her beloved and the stage.

Summer 1991. The last days of the Soviet Empire. Dark clouds gathered over Moscow as the Soviet government prepared to turn back the clock of history. While the world focused on the crashing Soviet Empire, this film focuses on the people who would've been among the first to suffer repression - the women and men who have broken sexual taboos in a consummate act of liberation against a rigid, crippled world. This is a view from their vantage point, unveiling the shadow-side of Soviet culture in the wake of the revolution, where the real provocative nudity is the nakedness of the soul.

Yura, a maximalist by nature, who served in the special forces, successfully tried on the role of a hip-hop artist, convinced that the world can be changed with lyrics in his tracks. But just at the moment when we begin to believe in the correctness and invulnerability of the hero, real tests begin for him. Yura learns that his grandfather is in the hospital because he saw his enemy during the Great Patriotic War in a report from Latvia about the parade in honor of the SS. Now the hero does not doubt for a moment that it is he who must restore justice and arrange a meeting between his grandfather and SS Untersturmführer Alfred Weber. To do this, he again has to move from words to deeds. Broken fists, cars and the hero's heart - and that's not all that he will have to face on the way to Europe.

This documentary explores the diversity of Moscow’s underground youth culture during the late Soviet period. Filmed around alternative art scenes and informal gatherings, the film depicts hippies, metal fans, and members of the city’s artistic subculture, including residents of the Bulgakov House squat and participants in the unofficial “Love Street” art festival. Performances by alternative bands such as Zvuki Mu, Nikolai Kopernik, and Oblachny Krai are featured.
