Biography
Kelly de Almeida Afonso Freitas, better known as Kelly Key ( Rio de Janeiro, March 3, 1983 ), is a Brazilian presenter, actress, singer, songwriter and businesswoman. In 2004 she also debuted as art director of her own shows. Academically, Kelly graduated as a teenager from the performing arts course at Teatro O Tablado, but never worked as an actress, in addition to graduating in administration from Centro Universitário Augusto Motta (UNISUAM), in 2010. In 2015, she started another university course, veterinary medicine at Estácio de Sá University , from which she did not graduate after becoming pregnant with her third child. Among her philanthropic work, the Federal Government 's campaign to encourage the use of condoms in 2002, and Friends of Childhood with Cancer (AMICCA), of which she has been godmother since 2003, stand out. Kelly has been married since 2004 with former Angolan footballer and businessman Mico Freitas, heir to the COSAL Group, whose family fortune was valued at 500 million euros. The singer has three children: Suzanna, Jaime Vitor and Artur – born in 2000, 2005 and 2017, respectively. In her singing career, she sold more than 2 million copies.
