Biography
Qays Sheikh Najib is a Syrian actor who was born on June 15, 1977 in Damascus. His father was the actor Mohamed El Sheikh Najib, and his mother was a dancer in one of the popular arts troupes. He graduated from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in 1988, and appeared in a number of important dramas, including “Ayam Shamiya” (Levantine Days) in 1992, “El Teyr” (The Bird) in 1998, “Salah Eddine El Ayoubi” in 2001, “El Taghreeba El Filistiniya” (Palestinian Emigration) in 2004, “Ma Malakat Aymanukum” (The Harem) in 2010, “Zaman El Barghout” (Time of the Flea) in 2012, and “El Ikhwa” (The Brotherhood) in 2014.
