Biography
Paolo Laganà (they/them), born in Italy on October 28, 1986, is an Italian-German film director whose work is rooted in a deeply personal exploration of queerness. After early experimentation with Super 8, Paolo moved to Bucharest, where they contributed to projects by directors such as Radu Jude and Corneliu Porumboiu and performed in film and television. Paolo lives and works in Berlin, where they attended the German Film and Television Academy (DFFB).
