Alex Troman

An ageing actor making his debut as director and playwright for a small local theatre is doing a new adaptation of a now popular book. We enter into a rehearsal session with him and the lead actress where his vision for the play is questioned by a stage critic.

A strange man encounters a small, peaceful paper planet. Unimpressed by his discovery, he begins to amuse himself by making a sound that has grave consequences to the paper planet and its inhabitants.
