Biography
Bani Nasution began his filmmaking journey in 2011 with his first short fiction film. In 2016, he directed the documentary Sepanjang Jalan Satu Arah, which received a Special Mention at SeaShorts Film Festival Malaysia (2017), was nominated at the Indonesian Film Festival (2017), received the Minikino Recognition Award (2018), and the Golden Award at Vidsee Juree Indonesia (2019). His short fiction Dua Ikan dan Sepiring Nasi (2020) was selected for JAFF and the Tampere International Film Festival, and became one of the most-watched films on the OTT platform Bioskop Online.
