Kurt "Ayeo-eo" Lumbag Alalag

An adaptation of Sinai Hamada's short story. A Japanese farmer living in the Cordilleras hires a Bontoc woman to work at his farm, and eventually marries her.

A 1950's mestiza star–trapped inside a television that fell from the sky–dreams up a romantic romp on the rice terraces, with a Bontok Igorot man who does not know how to kiss.

Following the Japanese invasion in the 1940s, Awiyao comes home to his wife Lumnay to ask her to attend the wedding dance, an invitation that stirs memories of joy, pain, and emptiness. It is an invitation to celebrate his new wedding dance.
