Biography

Héctor Alindor Marreros Vásquez was born on September 4, 1972, in Cajamarca, Peru. He is the fifth of nine children. He teaches History and Geography at the Faculty of Law. From childhood, he was involved in theater, developing his career as a director, screenwriter, and actor since 1996. He is a prolific, restless, and multifaceted filmmaker, author of a substantial body of independent audiovisual work, including short films, medium-length films, and feature films. He is the president of the Cajamarca Theater Cultural Center Association and the owner of the production company JM Udilmabri Films. He works as a cultural promoter and is the producer and host of the radio program "Poetry and Cinema," which airs on the online radio station América Visión (Chile).
