Hankaar is the story of 5 people set in the world of crime in Mumbai. The stories are about their struggles and their ultimate fall as they are thrust into the dark alleys of organized crime, unaware of their connection to a common enemy.

The film is based on the after the wedding custom when a newly-wed bride is taken back to her husband's home for the first time.

It is solely the power of faith and belief that motivates people from all over the world to visit Mandirs, Masjids, churches, Gurudwaras or other religious places. After visiting these various religious places, people's hearts are filled with immense faith and belief through personal experience with the fulfilment of their wishes and desires.
