Dracula: The Series is a short-lived syndicated children's horror television series developed by Glenn Davis and William Laurin, about Count Dracula (aka Alexander Lucard; A. Lucard, if you will) and his struggles with Gustav Helsing, Gustav's young nephews Max and Chris Townsend, and schoolgirl Sophie Metternich, with whom Chris develops romantic feelings. The series formula is relatively straightforward, with the four heroes learning of some nefarious plot by Dracula and setting out to foil it, with some success. In keeping with the novel, but not most media lore, vampires can travel in sunlight but lack their abilities. Anyone bitten just once by a vampire transform into a zombie-like servant; this process is preventable by applying holy water to the bite.

Sam Giancana is a ruthless mob boss from Chicago. During a trip to Las Vegas, he sees a performance by the McGuire Sisters, a popular singing group with a pure image. Sam is attracted to Phyllis and begins aggressively courting her. The two enter into an epic romance, but it brings unwanted attention and tarnishes Phyllis's reputation. For Sam, however, the consequences are far more drastic, landing him in trouble with the law and his fellow mobsters.

Browning is a PI with a bad cold, who's sent to investigate a case by a mysterious client. He stumbles across the body of a young woman and is stabbed to death, and when he wakes up in heaven, they tell him he's "marginal material," and they can only decide on his final destination through one last assignment: to go back and solve his own murder. As a dog. A cute fluffy little dog (Benji). Undaunted, Browning begins to investigate the case as best he can around his canine disabilities (dialing the phone presents a special challenge) to solve the murders, save the girl, and see justice done.

Russell, a single father, balances his work as a lawyer with the care of his five-year-old son after his wife abandoned them. When she reappears creating turmoil, he must deal with his new love interest and the job opportunity of a lifetime.

Author Ayn Rand becomes involved with a much younger and married man, to the dismay of those close to her.

Will Loomis is living with his mentally handicapped sister Violet, who wants a younger child to play with, so Will 'kidnaps' one (and then another) child from the local children's home. The child is told it is dead and gone to heaven. Will and Violet try to make their farm a little piece of heaven for the kids, while the authorities wonder what has happened to the kidnapped children.

This crime drama is based on the true story of Billy Isaacs. Freshly escaped from prison, Isaac is picked up by his brothers, and the entire dysfunctional brood embarks on a crime spree that takes them through a dozen states, claiming the lives of six innocent people .
