Biography
An Egyptian producer, director & video artist born in 1985. I've been graduated from the faculty of Engineering - Ain Shams University in 2007 - Mechanical Power Department. My Film work is characterized by being personal experiences yet they also can easily reach different segments of international audiences. Time, Memory, Nostalgia, and Static images are all elements that can be witnessed in my work. From 2018-2020 I worked as a producer with "Fig leaf" production company in Alexandria. In 2020, my short film as a producer "I am afraid to forget your face" won the prestigious Palme d'Or award in Festival De Cannes - Short Film Competition (2020). This Palme d'Or award marks the 1st Palme d'Or award for Egypt in the festival history In August 2021 I found The 1st Egyptian Film Producers Club (EFPC) which has been founded to gather all the aspiring film producers and share their experiences through the club's activities and also the main purpose of the club is to design educational programs for the upcoming generations of film producers in Egypt
