Dan Berglund, born May 5, 1963 in Pilgrimstad in Jämtland county, is a Swedish double bass player and jazz musician. He was a member of the group Jazz Furniture, which was awarded the Jazz in Sweden award in 1994. But he are most know as the bassist of Esbjörn Svensson Trio (E.S.T.)

A 15-year-old Somalian boy meets a 40-year-old Iranian man in a refugee camp in Skåne, in the south of Sweden. With the threat of deportation hanging over them, they decide to take their faiths in their own hands and together they go on a journey in the Swedish summer.

Burning Bright depicts a unique gathering of musicians from the Swedish contemporary and creative music scene, and their common voyage through a torched winter landscape. Fire! Orchestra is a collective voice in which the vocal chords are plucked individually by the members. The notes, the words, and the images are torn down to be built up again. We exist to be able to enter as if the titles of the praised records spoke to us: first came "Exit", then "Enter". But how far inside can we go before we find ourselves exiting again?
