The head of a criminal gang has all the power among his men until one decides to testify against him.

The story of Santos Vega, an Argentine gaucho from the province of Buenos Aires, who lived around 1830, and who gave rise to a legend in which, being an invincible payador, he ends up falling defeated to none other than the Devil, embodied in the person of Juan Sin Ropa, the only one who could defeat him.

The action takes place in Comodo Rivadavia, and reenacts a 1907 mission lead by José Fuchs, who was supposed to find water but found oil instead.

The story of a family that lives in a rural area of the province of Buenos Aires through three generations.
