In the early morning of April 9, 1940, the Danish army is alerted: the Germans have crossed the border.

Escort tells the story of the escort driver Alex. Alex' job is to drive call girls from one customer to the other and protect them from possible danger. One night Lulu gets into Alex' car. Lulu is not like the other girls and Alex slowly realizes that the night ahead of them will be unlike any other.

Mille and Bertram are preparing for their engagement party. The couple struggles with the "show" as they frantically prepare an intimate engagement dinner for their closest friends. But as the heat rises in the kitchen, both the pots and their tempers boil over, and unresolved tensions escalate as their friends' arrival approaches.
