Two people who really wanted to see Michael Snow’s new video [Cityscape] travel to Toronto Island where the video was filmed. They each make a video about what they wanted to see, what it might be like, what they couldn’t see and put these two videos side by side. A friend plays the drums.

In need of money, Goh Woo navigates his way through the city’s night landscape until it leads him into a totally foreign yet mysteriously predestined location.

Since the construction of the naval base in Gangjeong Village, the ocean ecosystem has been seriously damaged. The ones who have to cope with these changes are non-human life forms who live in places that we can’t see. Gangjeong divers become a mediator between the humans and the creatures under the sea, yielding their bodies to the underwater creatures.

One day, he sent me a roll of film. He asked me to develop the images he had taken during his long journey. But when I developed them, there was nothing on the film. Was it my mistake? Or his? Through the images he keeps sending, I begin to notice noises — things that were invisible before.
