Brian Sounalath hails from Portland, Oregon born to a Lao father and a Thai mother. He also has some Chinese and Vietnamese heritage in his background. He attended the University of Southern California where he studied theater and economics. With a long history as a performer, he has also worked extensively in casting and in writers' rooms. As a writer and performer, he focuses his content on comedy.
