Cinderella has become single and for the first time in her life she has to stand on her own two feet. It is not easy when the year is 2018 and the gender debate is raging. She comes for an interview with the lonely job consultant Franciska, who has settled into a fortress of her own feminist views.

Alma has left Copenhagen and abandoned her big dream of becoming a musician. But when she meets her former bandmate Anders in Aarhus, she is confronted with her fear of playing music and begins to open up.
