During the quarantine promoted by the Coronavirus, hundreds of videos posted on Darwin's personal Instagram become a biased diary of our time, of the last 10 years and, at the same time, a deep dive into his being, a dive for those who see and for those who made, an experience of discovery, resistance and contemplation, for both sides.

Sofia has a very clear goal: pass the entrance exam, find a job and leave home. However, when the school where she studies is occupied by her friends and classmates, she finds herself in a dilemma between continuing to study alone or sharing her knowledge in transforming the school.

After being born Georgina in the outback of Bahia, she became known as Diva Rios in São Paulo’s Boca do Lixo and Rio de Janeiro’s Lapa, as well as Suzy King in the nights of Copacabana, but died as Jacuí Japurá on the border of the United States and Mexico. Four names for just one woman: fascinating, moody and very creative. Singer, songwriter, actress, ballet, folk, burlesque and exotic dancer, snake charmer and fakir were only some of the artistic endeavors she tackled during her life. Found dead on the trailer where she lived in August of 1985, in California, she left behind stories without conclusion, lost remainings of her troubled trajectory and a trail of mystery. Three decades later, two historians gather fragments of her tale with the goal of piecing together the complex puzzle that was her life. Actresses, singers, musicians and performers join them to rescue the poetic aspects of her unique personality. A question resounds throughout the entire movie: Suzy King, who are you?

17-year-old Anderson steals a motobike in the outskirts of São Paulo. He wants to become a man, putting an end to years of exclusion and rejection, but he is faced with something he never learned to deal with: his own feelings.

Originality in a time of poorly made copies, a filmic inventory of a strange time, a kaleidoscope of images, in a constant game of ruptures and continuities. All this from 365 videos published on an Instagram page in 2018, added to an original soundtrack and a text adapted from Dürrenmatt's play Dialogue of a Vile Man, a text that synthesizes our time well.

It's one thing to come up with arranged ideas, it's another to deal with a country of people, of flesh and blood, of a thousand and so many miseries. So many people, it's scary to know, and none of them calm down. Everyone being born, growing up, getting married, wanting a job, food, health, wealth, being important, wanting rain and good business.

Making movies is the opposite of isolating yourself. NOTHING I WANTED TO SAY is a feature film shot indoors during the confinement of the 2020 pandemic. While they are involved in making a film about isolation, two brothers, 21 and 19, exercise their gaze towards what is near. Four months confined in a 60 m2 apartment, where they share the loneliness, anticipation and anguish of this strange time. A reflection on isolation during the Covid-19 quarantine and on reconnecting with one's inner self.

Ozualdo Candeias was a grumpy truck driver. He never lost the verve of this strange form of freedom, trapped in the cab and facing the varied itineraries of the world. Among the many jobs he held, he was also that of a filmmaker in Boca do Lixo, at a time when making films lacked pride and friends. He had both in abundance. His complexity can now be revisited in a process of image and sound collages, guided by a frank and reflective conversation, recorded at the end of 1997, about the cinema of yesterday, but also about today.

Pyroclastic flows (also known as a pyroclastic cloud or pyroclastic wave) are the devastating result of some volcanic eruptions. They are fluid bodies, composed of hot gas and pyroclasts (gray and stone) that can travel at speeds of up to 160 km per hour. In this case, the eruption is Cinema Marginal and the pyroclastic flows are called Ozualdo R. Candeias.

Based on ethnic, age, socioeconomic and gender diversity, we can draw an original portrait of contemporary Brazil from the hair of Brazilians.
