To solve the brutal murder of a young German surfer, two officers are secretly sent to the tourist paradise Hvide Sande on Denmark's west coast. No one in the city trusts the police, so they go undercover as a happily married couple from the big city.

A married couple must dust off the skills of their youth when they are forced to carry out one final million-euro con. Can they save their marriage, secure the money and pick up their eight-year-old in time for curling practice?

A theater group has allowed a film crew to follow them during the hectic hours leading up to the premiere. Director Viktor struggles to keep up appearances in front of the camera, while the actors ask many questions and internal conflicts come to a head.
