The story of the Greenwich Village Folk Revival, and the part Bob Dylan played in it. This film tells the story of Dylan's entry into and departure from the US Folk Revival, and features new interviews with many of the big players from the scene as it unfolded, as well as an abundance of timely footage, rare performances and numerous other features.

From Zodiac Mindwarp’s completely excessive ‘Prime Mover’ (directed by TV’s ‘The Young Ones’ star Adrian Edmondson) and the LA Guns’ intelligently sleazy ‘Sex Action’ to such prize rarities as KISS’ sexier European Version of their mega-smash ‘Reason To Live’ and Bon Jovi’s never-seen-on-TV ‘Wild In The Streets’, ‘ROCK ‘N’ ROLL MELTDOWN’ is highly volatile. It is therefore recommended that those possessing it keep it out of sight and reach of those parents or guardians inclined to confiscate such art in a misdirected attempt to insulate their kids from the real and exciting world.
