Mansour Al-Mansour

The events revolve around the grandmother (Hababa), who tells her granddaughter Lulwa and Nadia every day a story from the stories of the Thousand and One Nights, so that the scenes follow between the grandmother and the events of the story she tells, and the stories shed light on human values and social issues.

The events revolve around a family that includes three brothers, a sister and nephews, and the conflict that takes place between its members over many things, including unequal marriage where the husband is a university doctor and the illiterate wife, the miserly father and his treatment of his family, inbreeding, the wife’s preoccupation with her family and neglecting her, and the husband who drags his wife into addiction Drugs, quarrels between cousins due to university elections and others.

The series deals with an important era in the history of Kuwait, the period of the rule of Sheikh Mubarak Al-Sabah in the period between 1896 and 1915, and narrates some of the events that occurred in that period, such as his receipt of power, the Battle of Al-Sarif, the Battle of Hadiya, the attacks of Youssef Al-Ibrahim, his relationship with the Ottoman Empire, and the signing of the British-Kuwaiti protection agreement.

The series takes place during the period of the forties and fifties of the twentieth century, where Dahi, who is forced by circumstances to work at sea, gets to know Maryam in difficult circumstances, and discovers her work with pirates to steal boats, but she distributes the booty with her brother to the poor, in the hope of achieving social justice, and with the death of her brother Nadim, things get worse when she finds herself facing the gang leader Burhan the more evil.

A social comedy play that tells the story of a young Kuwaiti man born to an Indian mother, whom his father married on a business trip to India and divorced a month after marrying her. He refused to take her with him to Kuwait. On another visit, he searched for her but did not find her. She had immigrated with her child (Youssef) to England due to the war. However, when (Youssef) grew up, he searched for his father and found him in Kuwait. The play revolves around when (Youssef) visited his father in Kuwait to get to know him and his family members, but the difference in civilizations between Kuwait and England caused many problems.

A play in three separate acts: “Destructive”, “Under the Girdle”, and “Crazy Soso”, the events of which revolve, in order: A brother wants to seize his brother’s dilapidated house after learning that it will be on the appraisal map. A building owner keeps mercilessly raising the rents of his apartments on residents who can no longer afford them, and a difficult man who causes trouble for everyone around him.
