Sara, Lucía, Sofía and Claudia are sisters, 4 modern women with very different personalities, who come together at their mother's funeral, after which they discover the man they've all called "dad" throughout their lives is not really their father. They embark on a quest to discover who their real fathers are, discovering more about themselves, their mother, and their lives.

Lazarus is a Cuban appeal that makes a living in Madrid. When his girlfriend Dolores travels from Cuba to Spain to live with him, he is in prison for kidnapping and attempted rape. Dolores tries to survive with a broken heart, but his sympathy and sensuality will make adjusting to life in Madrid and try to exceed the Lazarus drug addiction.

A woman ventures herself on a journey through the vast lands of the desert and her memory, where she will discover an special interest searching and filming the insects among the way, while she deals with the unexpected and unknown impulses of her loneliness.

The axis of the argument is the confrontation to death on the part of twenty-one year old boys who were anchored in the death of two of their friends.
