La Venganza, is a Spanish-language telenovela produced by the United States-based television network Telemundo and RTI Colombia. This limited-run series ran for 127 episodes from November 4, 2002 to May 16, 2003. The soap opera was starred by Gabriela Spanic, José Ángel Llamas and Catherine Siachoque.

A middle-class Black family in Brazil copes with the election of a far-right extremist president. The mother believes that she's cursed after an unexpected encounter, while her husband puts all of his hopes into their son's soccer career.

After having invaded liquid, gaseous and solid substances, a strange voice takes possession of a woman's body and for the first time experiences the taste of something truly human. Together, the voice and the body seek for belonging and an identity of their own as they question their roles within society.

Returning its activities in the middle of the pandemic, a theater company tries to record a play. But one of the actors hears the news that David, one of his colleagues, died. While the news fills the theater halls, the actors react to it differently and David's presence is reconstructed through mourning.
