Tom is a grossly engineered man who is getting a bit old now. Despite his age, he wants to learn to play the piano. However, his music teacher Tina is search desperate for his talent. And so Tom has to find his own language and access to music.

In the near future, you can insert any knowledge directly into your brain. "J-4N413742" is a young woman bred to collect knowledge for these consumable "mindchangers". When "J-4N" experiences the truth about her existence she escapes and experiences a journey about realization.

But after a strange light emerges from that tube one day and the food no longer appears, conflict arises between the two. While Lila wants to further explore and understand this foreign light, Adrian opposes it, partly because its presence seems to bring unforeseen dangers.

When children's book illustrator Theodor falls into a creative crisis, a small creature suddenly appears, which from then on serves as inspiration for his drawings. But Theodor soon discovers that the creature's only food is his fingernails. The further Theodor progresses with his drawings, the more the creature demands of him. Finally, when Theodor no longer has any nails to feed the creature, he has no choice but to feed it his entire finger.
