This television adaptation retells the story of Dom Juan, an aristocratic libertine whose serial seductions culminate in a fatal confrontation with a supernatural avenger. The production presents the classic Don Juan legend in a comic tone for television.

The sculptor Erik Some gets commissioned to create a national monument. His sculpture gets rejected but it's the starting point for a lot of political and light-hearted complications.

It's the last night of 1899. In Helsingfors they celebrate the new millennium. The students at the university are dancing and among them is Helge Ulfstjerna.

Dora moves in with the artist Erik to become his model. Three men from a Masonic Order pretends to be interested in his art, but Dora is their real focus.
