Biography
Henok started acting while he was a high school student at Emperor Minelik II Secondary School as a member of the school's Drama and Literature Club. After completing his secondary education, Henok attended different training programs. He also studied acting at Holy Land Arts Academy for one year. Later, Henok joined Addis Ababa University and studied Theatrical Arts, and graduated with a BA degree. Henok further pursued his higher education and studied Film Production for his Master of Arts. Henok acted in more than ten Amharic stage plays such as "Hindeke", "Abeto Iyasu", "Abdisa Aga", etc. He played different roles in a number of television dramas in Amharic like The Homework, The Bequest, The Dreams, The Ladies, etc. Furthermore, Henok acted in a couple of international films such as "Sweetness in the Belly" and "Mandela's Gun." Henok produced a feature length film entitled "Rahel's Way." In the 2022 Europe Film Festival, Henok produced a short documentary called "City Portrait of Addis" and won a prize. Currently, Henok plays the role of Happy, the Loman's younger son in Death of a Salesman.
Known For
