Biography
Director, journalist, film critic (FIPRESCI member and editor-in-chief) and festival programmer. She worked as a director and screenwriter, creating media content for non-governmental organizations and socially responsible businesses such as WWF, OSCE, and UN, with a special focus on projects related to the East of Ukraine. Author of the series of video lectures dedicated to the Ukrainian cinema. Program coordinator of the OKO International Ethnographic Film Festival, which takes place in the Ukrainian region of Bessarabia. Since 2022, member of the EnergaCamerimage Film Festival of cinematography art in Poland. As director made awarded in local and international festivals.

Having been given the unique opportunity to become citizens of the Free Town for a month, we tried to explore the hippie utopia hidden behind bright facades, loud music, and crowds of tourists.

The author of the film lost her home for the first time back in 2014 and has been calling herself a tumbleweed ever since. Now she returns to her childhood memories and, over the course of thirty minutes, introduces the audience to four stories about the main industries of her native land. The film uses footage shot during the director's last trip to Donbas, where many places no longer exist.
