French current affair show
Infrarouge

This three-part documentary follows the full journey of six individuals facing legal charges, from their arrest to the end of their sentence. Accompanying them through judicial procedures in police stations, courts, and prisons, the film offers an unflinching look at the realities of the justice system, free from idealism or dogmatism. Is the cycle of “Entering, Staying, and Returning to Prison” inevitable?
Hors la loi

Caught in the act or after an investigation, six individuals must face police and magistrates, who will determine the reasons or need for potential incarceration beyond reasonable doubt. Some deny the charges, others confess. How does this initial detention, the first step in a lengthy judicial process, unfold? What is the purpose of prison? Hors la loi followed these individuals, accused of crimes such as burglary, car theft, illegal residency, and attempted rape, inside their cells.
Hors la loi : Entrer en prison

After serving their sentence, prisoners convicted by the justice system leave their cells and regain freedom, marking the end of their penal journey. Whether for burglary, sexual assault, assault, or drunk driving, every inmate eventually leaves prison. The key challenge then arises: how to avoid returning. Can prisoners become too accustomed to prison life? Is a return to incarceration inevitable?
Hors la loi : Revenir en prison

Suspected of attempted murder, escape, burglary, or sexual assault, six individuals were detained following their arrest, either caught in the act or after an investigation. They enter prison to serve an initial "provisional" sentence while awaiting trial, a temporary measure that can sometimes drag on due to lengthy judicial procedures. What does detention mean when it becomes indefinitely provisional, or when its duration is challenged in appellate courts? What, then, is its legitimacy?
Hors la loi : Rester en prison

Seven police officers break their code of silence to share their daily lives, expectations, and fears. An engaging documentary that explores a rare and unfiltered perspective, without idealization or preconceived judgments.

Aides à domicile, les temps modestes

Accidents, theft, violence, disturbances. Calls to 17, the police emergency number, are intended for urgent situations. In reality, the number of calls keeps increasing, with many being considered "non-urgent." However, these calls capture raw moments of emotion, distress, or anxiety, offering insight into a society facing a growing sense of insecurity. How do officers, expected to handle everything and sometimes the impossible, manage their demanding work?
Police, ne quittez pas !

Throughout history, the world has been ruled by men. But in the 20th century, women showed they could thrive without male domination. Men discovered that women did not view life or the world in the same way. Some rejected feminism, while others redefined their masculinity. This film explores the stories of six men who have struggled with what it means to be a man, especially in terms of love and fatherhood.
Des hommes en vrai
Le Mirail, Toulouse. Crime, rioting, religion, and terrorism: it seems there is no common ground between the different communities of the ghetto. The divisions are widening beyond control. This documentary offers straight talk, rooted in time and trust. It can be direct or abrupt, sometimes even confusing or shocking, but it is essential in forming the first few threads of a dialogue. Only through learning and understanding can we resist the reflex to reject the Other.
