Biography
Carlos Manuel Sánchez Díaz is an Afro-Latino writer, director, editor, producer, and executive producer born and raised in Puerto Rico. He studied in the oldest and most respected specialized art school in Puerto Rico, Escuela Especializada Central de Artes Visuales. Since high school, Carlos Manuel has produced and directed various shorts, Anecdotas: Prom (2019) being his most prolific. Taking part and being awarded at multiple festivals in the United States and Latin America, the latest being Best National and International Short, at the FACIUNI Student Film Program (2020).

Ricky, a 30-year-old police officer, rents a hotel suite beyond his means because he is celebrating a role he will play in a big Hollywood movie. He decides to spend money on alcohol and food while spending the entire night recording Instagram Live videos for his "fans," showing them the room and talking about what he will be doing in the movie. The night slowly unravels as various people call him, some to congratulate him, others to reprimand him for his negligent behavior.

On the night of their Senior Prom, three underage teens decide to steal alcohol from a gas station. While Gustavo is waiting in his car, smoking a joint and arguing on the phone with his girlfriend, Christian sneaks through the isles to steal alcohol and Pablo distracts the cashier by trying to flirt with her. In the amid of the affair, something unexpected disrupts their feat.
