Los Exitosos Perez is the adaptation for Mexico of the Argentine telenovela Los Exitosos Pells. It's a co-production of Endemol and Telefe. Mexican producer José Alberto Castro acts as it executive producer. With a mixed cast of mostly Mexican and Argentinian actors, and a few from other nationalities, it was filmed on location in Argentina, in exactly the same sets used in the original Argentinian counterpart. It premiered in Mexico on 31 August 2009 on the Televisa network.

Locura de amor is a 2000 Mexican telenovela produced by Roberto Gómez Fernández for Televisa. It was broadcast by Canal de las Estrellas in 2000. It stars Juan Soler, Adriana Nieto and Irán Castillo.

An actor from the provinces, a soap-opera star, reaches the big city with dreams of success. Partly through sincerity and partly prompted by an uneasy conscience, he wants to revolutionize the traditional photo-novel by linking it to social and political reality, to "bring social conscience to the masses" by utilizing this traditionally manipulative and alienating mass medium. The film narrates, in a tragicomic tone, the itinerary followed by Gualberto Rodriguez in his efforts to produce his 'revolutionary' photo-novel: the story of a peasant that migrates to the city, becomes a blue-collar worker, tries to establish a union, and ends up falling in love with the factory owner's daughter. The 'revolutionary' ends up being used, manipulated, and his project fails completely.

Sometimes you can live your whole life in a few days... A high school graduation trip in which love, friendship, desire, illusion, innocence and the forbidden are all part of the adventure. Charm and disillusionment shine through teenage friendships as the characters try to understand what is happening to them and what they should do with their future.

This film is different from the previous ones; its themes are more mature, and the characters and situations are different. The protagonist is still Mariana Ávila, who now has to face adulthood and marriage.

Girls just want to have fun; but often they must do some growing up first...and fast! Four teenage friends explore the grey area between sexual attraction and responsible behavior and just where love fits in.

This heterodox work draws on fiction resources and the register of documentary to denounce the phenomenon of rape in Mexico. With a complex essay-like structure, the film is a reflection on the various types of sexual violence, from the classist legal apparatus and the connivance of religious institutions, to rejection of and discrimination against victims. At the same time, it introduces community alternatives for victim support. A project by “Cine Mujer,” this film exemplifies the group’s motto and mode of production, and thus one of the maxims of feminism: no personal solutions; only collective action for collective solutions.

Pre-Hispanic concepts are shown mixed with the religion imposed by the colonizers, thus creating a religious-magical-medical system that balances between good and evil and is in itself its balance. An example of this are the magical divinatory rites and the use of plants by traditional doctors and witch doctors in the south of Veracruz, presented in this documentary.

The story confronts women with their shared reality, exploring machismo as a product of a patriarchal capitalist system and highlighting its impact on their daily lives.
