Robert Walter Colombini is a face of independent cinema. He's the actor of heavy silences and chooses edgy, taciturn characters. He has what many call a "lived-in face" and a cold gaze, which alone is enough to convey a character. Even his on-set demeanor is consistent with what he brings to the screen. He loves arriving without knowing exactly what will happen in the scene; this keeps him alert, reactive, and authentic. Since 2012, he has amassed a dozen films, always with the same trademark: minimalism, physicality, and believability.
