The series "Your Excellency" tries to examine the problem of unemployment and critique the administrative systems of the country with a humorous look by focusing on a young character named "Amir Ali Aali" who is a graduate of political coordination and planning in the doctoral program. The series seeks the need for fundamental reform of infrastructure, youthfulness, and the use of motivated manpower, with the theme that the problems of administrative and governmental structures are not solved overnight.

Mahtab lives in Tehran in 1996, along with her 10-year-old child, Erfan. She has got divorced from her husband, Morteza, who is in jail. Mahtab has enrolled her child in a karate class so that he does not end up like his father as far as his character is concerned.

The short film Tribune is the most heartfelt film I've ever made. A wonderful experience with a first-class teamwork. The only movie whose screenplay was written by someone other than myself.
