Michael Scalisi

A discarded Royal Typewriter from the 1930s is picked up from a trash heap and taken to a repair shop in the Flatiron Building, in New York City. The subsequent letters written and the responses received, including one from President Clinton, makes this a magical typewriter, one that wistfully questions obsolescence.

A linear chaining of several long frames depicting the forbidden relationship between two men who face the issue of self-acceptance and the consequences of the lie that protected their love story.
