Relationship between two women – mother and daughter in the second half of the 20th century. The story takes place in a old family house. The mother is confined to bed unable to move in her daughter's custody. The daughter comes in her mother's room to take care of her with a confession to tell. Something happened with her son and her mother's grandson three years ago.
Oscar, a digital hipster, dives into the fantastic world of analogue loving projectionists. It’s not as easy as it might seems, one may even get hurt! The documentary is about the dying culture of 70mm material and the last mohykans, who aren’t afraid of fighting for their beloved film copies and feed the hungry old projectors with them.
Countess Mitsuko Maria Thekla Coudenhove-Kalergi was the first Japanese female to come to Europe at the turn of the 19th century. She lived mostly in the area of the Bavarian border and administered the Poběžovice Castle, an estate of her deceased husband, Count Heinrich Coudenhove-Kalergi. She was a strong and well educated woman, never left by the nostalgia for her home. The film is loosely inspired by historical sources, relying on the unique imagination of Mark Ther and his proven feel for the narrative of the untold.
