The film takes place on the day of the end of the Olympic Games, August 3, 1980. On the eve and during the Olympics, the Moscow authorities are "trapping" and expelling antisocial elements beyond the 101st kilometer. The avant-garde artist Boris falls into this category, he is taken to the police, from where he manages to escape. Boris hides in a village barn, where he is discovered by the 10-year–old son of the hostess, Anna.

In one of the seaside towns lives an amazing man Nikolai with his family. He is famous throughout the district, and if something happens to one of the residents, they immediately turn to him as the highest judge and reliable intercessor. For this, he was nicknamed Noah, and his hotel was called the ark. Nikolai's wife Anna is his faithful friend, she fully shares his point of view on the world and tries to help him in everything.

Moving to a new place of residence, to an old apartment in the slums of St. Petersburg, Olga and her daughter Natasha accidentally discover a letter from the distant blockade of the forty-second year. A letter from the boy Yura for the girl Martha, whom he unwittingly offended before he had time to confess his love… The search for Marta becomes Olga and Natasha's salvation from pain and true self-discovery...

The struggle among the interested parties will intensify. Additionally, the blackmailer Evgeny threatens to publish the diary entries of the artist Ivanitsky, which could compromise all members of his family if they do not pay him for his silence.
