In the heart of the busy National Zoo , on an ordinary quiet day, visitors wander captivated by exotic creatures in their enclosures , unaware that somewhere in the labyrinthine garden, an empty cage is about to change their lives forever .

Mohamed, a six year old refugee, finds himself alone in a crowded Aegean beach. He is hiding behind a rock, watching the tourists bathing and waiting for his mother to come back. He lost her in the sea and now he needs to find her again, in order to keep up with the great trip to the West.

A prophet says that this Christmas the end of the world will come, via a huge asteroid, bigger than the Colosseum. Our story begins in Nonda's Canteen and in less than an hour it will officially be Christmas.

A grandson returns to his ancestors’ village for the winter. A grandfather returns from death to see his grandson for one last time. A village unable to cope with the returns that occurred out of love.
