This story starts in 1980 in Paris as the memories of Andrei Borodin, a Soviet agent, take the action back to 1943 during the Teheran meetings of Stalin, Roosevelt and Churchill. A high-ranking Nazi officer developed a plan to assassinate the three world leaders in order to undermine the Allied forces. He commissioned the German agent Max Richard to carry out his plan, but it failed miserably due to the quick action and thinking of Andrei. While in Teheran, Andrei met a French woman, Marie Louni, living in the city and they had a brief but intense affair. Nearly four decades later, the Nazi officer has been captured - but not for long. Freed by terrorists, the officer is hunting down the German agent who failed to carry out the planned assassinations. Max lives at Françoise, a young French woman, who hides him.
Plot revolves around the post-war decades and tells about the fate of former participants of the Great Patriotic War - Vera Boglyuk, Nina Verkhovskaya, Dusya Koroleva, Zina Skvortsova and Natasha Druzhinina.
Natalia Kuznetsova, a young, outwardly prosperous and successful woman artist, lives in the centre of Moscow. A plumber comes to fix a clogged sink in her bathroom, who turns out to be a man from her distant past... The meeting evokes memories of her first love: in her youth she was friends with Igor Turbin, who was from a large family, and although he had abilities and talent, he did not go to university, but went to work for the sake of his two younger brothers. She married Makarkin, a carefree and successful classmate. She, the daughter of the creative intelligentsia, was self-assured a place in the art academy and a secure career and future, and the husband should have been appropriate. But happiness did not turn out. Years later she realised that she had betrayed her love and married a complete stranger....
The material of this film review was the performances of the popularly beloved artist during tours and filming, her interviews and rehearsal work of the first half of the 80s of the last century. The film features songs, most of which became hits of their time and remained in Alla Pugacheva's repertoire for many years.

The plot of the film is based on real events of the Great Patriotic War. When the Nazis occupied Crimea, the actors of the drama theater of the city of Simferopol entered the underground group Sokol. The activities of the underground members were diverse: they put up leaflets with information from Soviet Information Bureau, compiled maps showing the strategic objects of the enemy, and supplied the partisans with medicines. On April 10, 1944, 3 days before the liberation of Simferopol, the underground members died from enemy bullets — they were shot on the outskirts of the city.
