More than 150 silent short films about singers, actors and directors captured during Press Conferences in Cannes, Venice and Berlin, between 1993 and 2002. Presented the first time in 2012 (ten years after the last shooting) in Napoli Film Festival and in 2013 at the Art Institute of California in Santa Ana. An anthropological experiment on the facial expressions of famous people showing the human being aspect. All original footage from Mel Gibson to Peter Jackson, from George Lucas to Catherine Deneuve, from Michael Douglas to Giancarlo Giannini and many others.

The annual film festival in Venice is, of course, an ideal place to make a film (how come no-one has thought of it before). Everything is there in Pupi Avati's Festival: the famous hotels Des Bain and Excelsior on the Lido, the shimmering sandy beach which captivated Visconti. The film was made last spring and exploits the presence of passing film stars such as Jack Nicholson. We see the hysterical press conferences, where journalists and experts ask intelligent questions-without listening to the answers.

40-year-old Arnold Gardner is put in charge of the talk show "The Twenty-fifth Hour" after the death of the former host Duncan Mackay. His role on screen creates immediate interest and the program becomes a great success with TV audiences. This proves to be a period of great satisfaction for Arnold, but his childhood friend, Eddie Greenberg, suddenly comes on the scene. Eddie is ill and frustrated by lack of success, and is so resentful and envious of Arnold's fame that he wants him to make a full public confession of a "sin" he committed in his young days.

Uninhibited conversations with Tony Patrioli, the first Italian photographer of male nudes in the 60s, historic photographer for the monthly magazine Babilonia that published his books and photoshoots both in Europe and in the USA. Before Mapplethorpe and after Wilhelm Von Gloeden, Patrioli lived a professional relationship of complicity with his models, partially similar to the one Pasolini had with his hustlers (ragazzi di vita). This part shot in colours alternates speeches by the photographer and the art critic Luigi Mazzoleni, by the gay culture historian and ex editor of Babilonia Giovanni Dall'Orto, and by Tony's favourite model, Bruno. A mix of tragi-comical adventures, dramas and reflections on religion, euthanasia, the fact of being gay in the 50s-60s-70s and the American censorship made by George Bush. All this in presence of Tony's best friend: a mixed-breed dog called Tony Bau.
