Valentin Merz

After 20 years of separation, brothers Adrian and Valentin spend a week together. 32-year old Adrian lives with their parents and benefits from a disability pension. Valentin, barely older, seems to have found his autonomy. Brothers - A Family Film is a dizzying dive into a relationship as impossible as it is established, where violence and tenderness are one and the same.

New technologies are transforming a 19th-century watchmaking town in Switzerland. Josephine, a young factory worker, produces the unrest wheel, swinging in the heart of the mechanical watch. Exposed to new ways of organizing money, time and labor, she gets involved with the local anarchist movement.

As snow falls over a city, people share secret tricks with each other. Like how to kiss somebody and make them disappear, or having thoughts which are unrecognizable to machines.

A crew is shooting a libertine costume film in the countryside when Valentin, the director, suddenly disappears. While the local police investigates, the film shoot continues but takes an odd turn. Robin, the cameraman and director’s lover, follows a promise and reaches the Mexican Pacific.

Two barrel organ players roam the streets of Juárez, a district of Mexico City. They play their music and ask passers-by for money, while a couple of tourists from Paris set up an insurance fraud...

The prisoner Klara Wendel was supposed to be deported from west to east Switzerland. But strange incidents occur during her transport, and all her companions disappear. Klara is found wearing a nun’s habit. To get to the heart of the matter, a tribunal is hastily set up in a barn. The judges want to find out how Klara has managed to escape and why she’s dressed as a nun. On trial by men, Klara somehow manages to take over and become the director of both the trial and the film.

On a summer holiday in the countryside, Louis and Paul spend the time alone making love throughout the day. But as Paul becomes distant, Louis finds connections in his dreams but sometimes his dreams aren't always the safest escape.

Until the adventure takes a new turn and unfolds as a mysterious crime thriller with YouTubers, confined to a castle in France.

Coral and her pregnant sister Luz live in an old house with no running water. In their patio, while the bricklayers are building a cistern, they accidentally find a pre-Hispanic burial and an archaeologist intervenes. At night, as Luz goes into labor, the men will make another unexpected discovery.
