Biography
Matheus Bazzo Malgarise (born October 29, 1990, in Passo Fundo, Brazil) is a Brazilian designer, photographer, producer, art director, and entrepreneur. He produced the documentary The Garden of Afflictions (O Jardim das Aflições), centered on the life and thought of philosopher Olavo de Carvalho. In 2017, he founded Minha Biblioteca Católica, a Catholic book subscription service that has since reached over 30,000 subscribers and printed more than 2 million copies of classic religious works. In 2019, he launched Lumine, a Catholic streaming platform offering classic and original content, which has grown into the largest of its kind in Latin America. Bazzo's productions include series and films such as Filhos de Cister, Apóstolo do Brasil: a missão de São José de Anchieta, and Um santo entre nós, reflecting his focus on religious and cultural storytelling.
