The Makai fight a secret war against the demon forces known as Horrors, evil creatures that manifest themselves through darkness to devour Humanity. GARO follows the tales of the Knights bearing the title of ‘Golden Knight Garo’, and their duty to vanquish the Horrors and protect Humanity from the darkness.

21 years ago, a baby arrived on earth inside of a peach. Today, five warriors based on the legend of Momotaro fight enemies that are inhabiting humans, invisible to the naked eye. Together they fight to take back gears based on previous Super Sentai.

At the suggestion of Yuri, Hiro arranges a party at his small bar in Shinjuku. Yuri's three high school classmates – Hiro, Kenji and Tamotsu – are also joined by Takeru, who went to the same university with Hiro and Yuri, but who Kenji and Tamotsu haven't met before. As the four men eagerly wait for Yuri to arrive, the various secrets related to the men's relationships to Yuri start to come to light.
