A love story between a blind man who dreams of being a TV presenter and a young film student, despite everything that opposes them.
“L’oasis des eaux gelées” a feature-length drama directed by Raouf Sebbahi that explores the profound bond between Fadhila, an emergency doctor, and Kader, a nurse, who have been inseparable since childhood. However, the birth of their first child triggers a perplexing change in Kader’s behavior, leading to hostility towards his wife and child. As their marriage crumbles, Kader is suddenly diagnosed with cancer, presenting Fadhila with a daunting dilemma: Should she rebuild their shattered relationship or support her ailing husband?
The film counts the return trip of thirty Moroccan immigrants from their country of emigration to their home country in a bus. It tells the several events happening among a group of people forced to coexist in a single, narrow space despite the differences of their worlds and their cultural backgrounds.
The film revolves around (My Friend) a young man in his thirties who works as a technician repairing televisions and satellite dishes. He lives in a modest neighborhood with his mother, who suffers from hearing loss, and seeks to travel to the United States by emotionally exploiting an American girl.
