Through the files of Cuban cinema news program Noticieros ICAIC Latinoamericanos, the documentary shows the most relevant events of the second half of the 20th century as seen by the documentary filmmakers of the island. During three decades and under the general direction of Santiago Álvarez, these moviemakers witnessed almost everything: from the shivers of the Cold War to Bola de Nieve's piano solos; from the discovery of the killing fields in Cambodia to the Carnation Revolution in Portugal. In 2009, the original negatives of Noticieros ICAIC Latinoamericanos were declared part of the "world memory" by UNESCO.

Months later, Circo landed at Lapa, the city's most bohemian neighborhood. Today, more than three decades later, the venue has become a cultural reference in the country. This documentary is directed by Tainá Menezes and has testimonials from artists such as Gilberto Gil, Lobão, Evandro Mesquita and more than 50 personalities that were part of the history of Circo Voador.

Nina is a 16-year-old girl who lives in a rural neighborhood of Oberá (Misiones, Argentina). She works on the farm and in the village to support her family, which prevents her from attending school. One day, she is enticed to travel to the capital by a job offer as a nanny, offering a good salary and the opportunity to study. She shares this dream with Lourdes, her Paraguayan cousin from a marginalized neighborhood in the city of Encarnación, who receives a similar offer.
