Ingeranna Krohn-Nydal

Carl Størmer was walking around Kristiania in his day with his detective camera and taking pictures of people; captured situations, meetings, reactions and looks in a way that was not thought possible at the time. The film not only tells the story of the making of the images, but also about the city, the people and about photography as such.

Amindas verden is a poetic portrait of a lonely old woman who lives alone on an abandoned farm somewhere on the coast of Trøndelag. The film strictly adheres to an observational approach, capturing what happens without interfering with her daily routine.

A fabulous story that places more emphasis on emotional experience than logical and analytical thinking.
