Strangers is a 1978–82 ITV police procedural created and principally written by Murray Smith, based on characters created by Kenneth Royce in his novel series and subsequent 1977–78 television adaptation The XYY Man. Don Henderson and Dennis Blanch reprise their roles, respectively, of Detective Sergeant (DS) George Bulman and Detective Constable (DC) Derek Willis. A group of police officers are brought together from across the country to the north of England. There, the fact that they're not well-known gives them the advantage to infiltrate where a more familiar local detective could not. Despite being based around a comparatively small team of detectives, a regular feature in its early years is that few episodes feature the entire team, with most using just two or three regulars in any major role.

Ayaz who has a feud with Nasir's family makes a plan and manages to get their father arrested. Nasir decides to get revenge but is send away from the city. He meets a valiant and becomes his disciple learning his work. When he returns home he goes after Ayaz and his daughter to take revenge on them

A maid is raped by her boss and then kicked out of the house. The maid, who has become pregnant, gives birth to her child, and because she cannot take care of her child, she abandons him. A driver finds the child and keeps him with him, and by following up, he first finds his mother and then forces the boss to marry his former maid.

A greedy man sends his wife to prison on the pretext of debt in order to obtain the woman he desires. The woman, who is in financial difficulty, turns to the greedy man, but resists his demands and is severely injured. The greedy man, thinking that he has murdered the woman, abandons her in the desert and escapes. The wife is released from prison with the help of her friends. Based on the evidence, she initially becomes suspicious of her husband, but soon the truth is revealed and the greedy man is caught in the law. The wife and her husband also start a new life.

A few men and women who went to the desert for a picnic meet two "giants". The giants fight because of one of the girls and their work is dragged to the city. Urban civilization gradually turns them into two different beings. Desert giants learn how to live and love in the city and then return to their village with the girls they have married.
