Biography
Eleni Dimopoulos is an actress, director, creator and artistic director and president of the Board of Directors of the group “En dynamei”. She was born in 1958 in Istanbul. She has been working in the field of Arts since 1977. She has studied at the “Dramatic Art Inspectorate” of Roula Pateraki. A key member of the Experimental Stage of “Art” since 1987. After 42 consistent and loyal years in the field of theater, she has served theatrical art from all positions (actress, assistant director, acting teacher, artistic director, production organization, founder of new dynamic artistic groups, curator of important theatrical actions, organization of seminars, coordinator of theatrical festivals, etc.). She gained the appropriate experience and knowledge alongside great teachers such as Nikiforos Papandreou, Nikos Hourmouziadis, Apostolos Vettas, Roula Pateraki, etc. At the same time, she followed the contemporary theatrical concerns and trends of young directors as she was a contributor to performances that left a “clear” mark on the formation of the modernity of theatrical art. She worked with young playwrights and directors who stand out for the quality of their proposals, such as Eleni Efthymiou, Sofia Eftychiadou, Christina Hatzivassiliou, Yannis Moschos, Yannis Kalavrianos, Maria Maganari, Yannis Paraskevopoulos, Dimitra Choumeti, etc.

A tribute to Nikos Kazantzakis, the great writer and thinker. Researchers, university professors, who dealt with the great Cretan and world creator, but also ordinary everyday people, tell stories they lived and heard, outlining his life and work. His relationship with God, travel, love, philosophy, friendship, love, music and dreams are recorded in filming that took place in Crete, Aegina, Thessaloniki and Athens. The tribute is the truth of his personal path, a path that is identified with his life and work.

The film is inspired by the theater of the absurd and mainly by theatrical texts by Ionesco and Pinter but also by the original myth of Iphigenia which symbolizes sacrifice.

Through this cultural intervention, the film examines the forgotten neighborhood's present reality and potential revival of the significant industrial heritage site.
