Vicente Duarte commits his first crime. The victim is a young, attractive woman whom the criminal had never met. From his initial foray into the world of crime, Duarte feels a kind of inner serenity, which will drive him to continue committing more crimes.

Vidal (Darín) is about to be bankrupt, so he sets up a fake car robbery with a small-time mobster to collect insurance and split the money. But his perfect plan becomes entangled by his increasingly dangerous ties to the mob and the meddling of a rogue insurance investigator (Pinti), who eventually strikes a deal with Vidal and decides to team up with him and his wife (Papaleo) to bring down the mob and expose the corruption that links a high-ranking executive to the mafia.

Based on a true story, this compelling film follows Sandra and Valentina, two former nuns whose paths intertwine years after shared trauma. As they confront their past and unexpected feelings, they manage to transform their pain and find the strength to overcome the after-effects of the abuse they were subjected to into shared love and their marriage.

Eduardo Peña and Angel Ruiz are two Spanish actors who are on tour in Argentina. They try to achieve success there with a play that speaks of man and his passage through life, but the spectators are becoming increasingly scarce. One day his old car breaks down and they stop at Zapallares, a lost town. There, on the eve of the municipal elections, they meet an old friend, Professor Roberto Tolosa (Dario Grandinetti), critical of the construction of a new hotel and with the political class of the place and that will try to reopen a theater with the help of their fifth-year students, despite opposition from politicians.
