During the change of functions in the Fortuna medical ceramics company, Bohouš Fisher, an independent clerk, became deputy director of the company against his will. As a result, he is forced to make even greater compromises than before. He takes part in unnecessary meetings for which he has to raise money from company funds because of his position, or he jocularly solves a "work" accident of two employees who were engaged in love games instead of work. It's not much better in his private life. He would like to do some meaningful work, like building a stove.

In the 1980s, a number of films were made about teenagers. At first they dealt with the confusing search for life orientation, the difficult entry into adult life - and gradually the interest shifted to delinquent youth. This film charts the conditions in a dehumanised housing estate, where youths, out of boredom, gather into gangs that wander aimlessly, humiliate passers-by, and attack the defenceless. He discovers that parents have too little time for these children, that their actions are downplayed until tragedy strikes.

Ivan is shooting a documentary for the film school. His subject- girls and women working in the local beauty salon. Among them is his childhood friend Eva, who needs to find a model for the upcoming hairdresser contest.

An ordinary country girl is entering life with only a very vague idea of her future. Dissatisfied with her monotonous job in the village, she commutes every morning to the city, where she has found a job that is equally stereotypical and depressing. She has only one simple goal: to have a boyfriend, then get married and start a family. But in the fate of her more pioneering friend, she sees that even achieving this goal has its downsides. She herself experiences her first disappointment in love and her first harsh life experience...

Even ideology permeated the children's stories: the beginnings of forced collectivisation in the village are seen through the eyes of a young boy. As the son of an honest and deliberate communist official, there is no shortage of informed insight, even if it is lightened slightly by the occasional wacky idea. However, childhood friendships or even loves run up against the conflicts of an excited age, especially when the protagonist's best friends come from families of class enemies.
